I have often contemplated and written of the desolation of Holy Saturday, from the perspective of the women who likely prepared and served the Last Supper, stood with Christ throughout the ordeal of the Cross, and planned and prepared to properly attend to his body once the Sabbath was ended. Your meditation on the men who, in desolation, were walking home to get on with their lives is yet another imaginative look at the very real people Jesus surrounded himself with. Thank you
